“O Sistema”, a solo show by the young and fruitful Angolan artist Cristiano Mangovo. The exhibition reveals a group of previously unseen pieces that address complex socio-political issues such as hierarchies, the deep-rooted and widespread mind-set of division and opposition, conflicts of interests or the exercise of power, its conquest and preservation at all costs.

In this case, the chess board represents the system, while it creates new, infinite patterns and possibilities, when overlapped with another system. The poster should refer to the dynamic idea of power and politics.
